The script of this film ‘Oru Naal Varum’ is written by Sreenivasan and TK Rajeev Kumar will be the director. Mohanlal will take up this film after finishing the first schedule of ‘Christian Brothers’. Changing from stylish designer wear to simple mundu is not difficult for the terrific actor.

Hot news is that the chic Sameera Reddy will play the female lead to Mohanlal in ‘Oru Naal Varum’. Sameera was supposed to a modish glamour role in the shelved film ‘Casanova’. But her role in the new film is expected to be simple and humble.

Sameera is already doing a deglamourised role in Nagesh Kukunoor’s film ‘Yeh Honsla’ playing a woman living in a small village in Rajasthan. We all know this beauty also has brains and so will take things easily in her stride.

The Kerala High Court said that it wont be considering the petitions filed by the bus owners until they withdraw from the ongoing bus strike. Justice P.N. Raveendran who made this comment said that he said so only after seeing the misery of the common people. More than 30000 private buses went into indefinite strike in kerala demanding the hike in bus fares.

Its really very sad that we the people are suffering on all the time whenever a group of people wants to protest against some issues. Why we should suffer all the time? Why can’t they find some other way to protest against these kinds of issues? When considering this bus strike we the common people who gave them fares and travel had been put to misery as the bus owners felt that they wants a hike on the bus fare. I think strict actions are required from the part of the govt. and also from the people as well. Its time for all of us to react to this. Otherwise these strikes and harthal will be going on and on for ever. Expecting your valuable comments on this issue.

The longest annular solar eclipse of the third millennium will occur on January 15. There won’t be an annular solar eclipse longer than this one till 3043. An annular eclipse is when the sun is visible like a ring of fire, with the moon darkening its centre.

The last annular solar eclipse visible from India was in 1976. Even then, it could only be seen from the northeast parts of Jammu and Kashmir.

“”Most of India will be able to see partial phases of the eclipse which will first touch the western side and then travel in a northeasterly direction”, according to Nehru Planetarium Director N. Rathnasree. The extreme southern parts and southern tip of Mizoram will be able to see the annular phases of the eclipse, she added.

In Mizoram, the eclipse will last from 12.18 pm to 3.32 pm, with an annular phase of three minutes from 2.03 pm. Delhi will only see a long partial eclipse from 11.53 am to 3.11 pm.
